Critical Estimation of Strength of Coating of Solvent Layer on the Basis of Adhesive Building Mixture

The technique for estimating the strength of adhesion of a solution layer on the shear is described in this article. The methods for calculating adhesion intensity and their metrological properties are proposed. The GT 2.2.3 device’s appearance and operation theory are defined. The use of a GT 2.2.3 system to determine the strength of tile adhesive adhesion to the shear is defined. The data were based on the results of tests performed on an adhesive layer on a cement substrate. The shear strength exceeds the values of the maximum tangential stresses, and the tensile stresses appearing in the adhesive layer are less than the tensile strength at shearing. The proposed technique for estimating adhesion to shear strength helps us to consider not only the adhesive adhesion strength to the substrate, but also the shear bond strength. With this information, it is possible to discuss the adhesive layer’s adhesion intensity to the substrate.
