Acne Vulgaris: A Brief Review
This review will examine the epidemiology, aetiology, pathophysiology, categorization, and treatment choices for acne vulgaris. Acne is a complex, polymorphic inflammatory disorder that affects the pilosebaceous gland and causes skin lesions. When a youngster hits puberty, the process begins. Interference with the sebaceous gland, which has been related to hyperseborrhoea, hormone imbalance, and other conditions. Interaction of the microenvironment with neucleopeptide, variations in sebum fatty acid content, follicular hyperkeratinizations, innate and adaptive immune dysfunction, and inflammation induction are all critical factors in the development of acneiform. Allopathic, ayurveda, and homoeopathic medicine systems all have an impact on acne vulgaris treatment.
