Advanced Study on Resource-Saving Methods of Forming Information Infrastructure of Sorting Stations
This chapter explores a resource-saving method for choosing the rational structure of an automated control system while migrating the technological structure from a powerful processor-based centralized system to a functionally distributed microcontroller-based system. The method helps you to decide a reasonable number of subsystems that efficiently utilize the computational and financial resources of the project. A real instance of designing an electronic control system for a marshalling yard shows the approach.
