Clay and Organic Amendments on the Nutrient Availability and Enhancing Crop Productivity in Coastal Sandy Soil
Coastal ammophilous soil lacks feeling, form and shows weak natural element, CEC and mineral memory possessions. Among micronutrients, metallic mineral imperfection is happening in two together crops and human. Zinc inadequacy is extensive in ammophilous soil of seaside agro environment proper depressed natural resources, CEC, extreme draining etc. The function of normal corrections like mud and organics plays a main duty in reconstructing all these features. Pot experiments were attended in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Annamalai University to judge the influence of brick and basic corrections on the soil possessions and yield of edible grain and angry grandam in arenicolous soil. The beginning soil sample was typified as arenicolous nature accompanying marginally soluble (pH 8.07) and salty (EC 2.45 dS m-1). The rank of N, P and K were reduced. The following situations namely., T1–Control (100% urged NPK), T2–NPK + 20 t earth ha-1, T3–NPK + 40 t mud ha-1, T4 –NPK + 20 t brick ha-1 + FYM @ 12.5 t ha-1, T5 –NPK + 40 t terra cotta ha-1 + FYM @ 12.5 t ha-1, T6 –NPK + 20 t earth ha-1 + Lignite Humic acid @ 20 kg ha-1 and T7–NPK + 40 t mud ha-1 + Lignite Humic acid @ 20 kg ha-1 were intentional in CRD utilizing edible grain ADT-43 accompanying three replications. Another container experiment was completed activity to judge the influence of terra cotta and natural improvements namely., FYM and humic acid on the soil characteristics and Zn chance for dirty grandam in ammophilous soil. In a Completely Randomized Design, the following situations that is to say T1- Control (100% Recommended application of NPK), T2- NPK + ZnSO4 @ 25 kg ha-1, T3- T2 + brick @ 20 t ha-1, T4- T3 + Humic acid @ 20 kg ha-1, T5- T3 + FYM @ 12.5 t ha-1 were intentional utilizing four replications. Black grandam difference ADT 3 was developed. In two together the crops miscellaneous tumor and yield limits and yield were written. Post harvest soil samples were analysed for the physic-synthetic characteristics, feasible main vitamins and minor element Zn. The results of the cauldron experiment on edible grain revealed that between the situations T7, use of N + brick @ 40 t ha-1 + HA @ 20 kg ha-1 written maximal soil possible foods namely., NH4+-N (48.26 mg kg-1), NO3- -N (36.33 mg kg-1), Olsen P (5.13 mg kg-1) and NH4OAc-K (91.21 mg kg-1) at harvest stage individually. This situation too written the capital yield integrity and yield of edible grain. The results of the study on dark grandam marked that the request of two together the improvements were adept in reconstructing the tumor, yield of dark grandam and too Zn chance and Zinc use adeptness. Among the situations T4, use of NPK + ZnSO4 @ 25 kg ha-1 + terra cotta @ 20 t ha-1+ Humic acid @ 20 kg ha-1 explained a important increase in the DTPA-Zn content in soil besides reconstructing the natural element and handy food rank.
