Large Mucinous Ovarian Cystadenocarcinoma in a Young Female: A Rare Case Presentation

The authors describe a case of a young woman’s huge ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma worsening a premature pregnancy. Ovarian mucinous adenocarcinoma is a rare kind of ovarian tumour that arises from the surface epithelium of the ovary. 9 days after giving birth, a 25-year-old lady with abdominal distension presented to the hospital. A huge solid cystic mass, measuring 36 x 14 cm, extends from the pelvis to the epigastrium, according to USG findings. In the intraperitoneal space, an MRI pelvis shows a heterogeneous hyperintense solid cystic mass lesion with a bunch of grapes appearance, extending cranially up to the epigastrium and caudally into the pelvis, causing anterior uterus.
