Studies on Effect of Pre-harvest Fruit Bagging on Yield and Quality of Litchi (Litchi chinensis)

December 26, 2022 Agricultural Sciences 0

This division proposed to focal point the effect of pre-harvest product bagging on yield and status of litchi (Litchi chinensis). The present examination was conducted at the Experimental Farm, Department of Horticulture, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat During 2021-2022. The experiment was planned in Randomized Block Design (RBD) accompanying seven (7) situations and three (3) replications. The situations captured under the study were Control (T1), Non-spun Red (T2), Non-spun Blue (T3), Non-spun White (T4) Non-spun Green (T5), Non-spun Yellow (T6) and Polypropylene (T7). The maximum crop weight (17.81g), product capacity (20.00cc), crop extent (3.16cm), product time (3.56cm), covering pressure (14.28g), peel burden (2.31g) and yield (0.44kg/bunch) were written in T4 (Non-spun White). Sun burn (8%) and crop breaking (5.66%) portion was noticed shortest in T4. During depository, capital useful life of product was noticed in T4 that is 10.50 days. It maybe decided that all the bags studied in the experiment were raise expected good two together in subjective and determinable individualities and further raised useful life of product. However, in conditions of morphological and useful life of product traits, the non-spun silvery bag outperformed the different bags.
